Concerning your request for wisdom and direction for your ministry, the Word of God serves as the perfect guide. The Bible teaches us that we should walk worthy of whatever ministry vocation we are called.
I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1-3 Years ago God taught me several things about ministry that I feel led to share with you. First, you must know your specific assignment from the Lord before pursuing a ministry independent of your home church. Knowing your assignment and staying focused on what God has given you to do are critical to your fulfillment and effectiveness. Second, your ministry will always be a product of your faith, which makes faith the most important subject you must master. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Romans 12:6
Third, you must be faithful in the service under another before God will trust you with a greater assignment. Never concern yourself about others calling your name and recognizing you as you serve. God in heaven has recorded your name and deeds and that record cannot be changed! Further, obedience to what God has told you to do is critical.
When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. John 6:5-6
In the story of Jesus challenging the disciples to feed the multitude, their obedience in the face of impossibility is what triggered the miraculous!
