Concerning wisdom for trouble with your personal health, the Bible is filled with wisdom. You must understand that it is the will of God that you get well and walk in health. The Bible is filled with so many scriptures that attest to this fact that it is easy to find a few to testify to this fact.

He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Proverbs 107:20

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 3 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:18

These passages and many others relay the important fact that God wants you to walk in health. , many believers misunderstand divine healing and think that it is unwise to go to the doctor or to the hospital. Somehow, they think that going to see a physician will bother their faith. You should seek help for your situation through the best medical help you can find as you stand in faith for the divine power of God to impact your situation.

I often pray for people who want God to perform a miracle to make up for their lack of discipline. Obeying the laws of good health is extremely important to living a healthy life and, many times, is the answer to many situations. Of course, I will pray for you, but in order for the prayers of the righteous to be effective long term, there must be some corresponding action of discipline to stay away from those foods or activities that bring on sickness and disease.

Finally, it is important, when going to a doctor, that you be very clear in telling the doctor what is going on and that you are in faith for your healing. I have counseled members to get second opinions before making critical health decisions. Anytime you are facing a health challenge, you must do so prayerfully and with the best available medical help.
